About Us

Founded by Joey Tong, a passionate connector of people and cultures, SIS MamaShop began as a way to bring a part of home to fellow Singaporeans living in Australia. 

Just like those Mamashops back home, we’re here to serve the community with carefully selected products.

Joey’s journey started with Singaporeans in Sydney (SIS) in 2018, a vibrant Facebook group of Singaporeans who found each other in Sydney through shared stories, laughter, and of course – food. From humble gatherings to bustling potlucks, SIS became a family away from home. Inspired by the warmth of the friendships made, Joey envisioned a space where you can find your favourite things and food back home at the click of your fingers, conveniently delivered to your doorstep. 

Long story short, that’s how SIS MamaShop was born!
